Common questions

Booking, Timing and Same-Day Service

How do I book?

Call (02) 9023 2087 and we'll lock in a time while you're still on the phone, often for the same day. Prefer not to call right now? Leave your number through our callback form and someone from the team will ring you back shortly.

How fast can you get here?

For most callouts we're there within the day, and a genuine emergency gets us out any hour, day or night. We'll give you a real arrival window as soon as you're through to us, not a vague slot that could mean any time before dark.

What counts as a drain emergency?

A blocked toilet with sewage rising, a stormwater pit overflowing into the garden, or several fixtures backing up together are the calls that jump straight to the front of the queue. One sink draining slowly on its own can generally hold until your booked appointment.

Do you work weekends and public holidays?

Yes, we roster every day of the week, public holidays included, and pricing doesn't change based on what day it is. A blocked drain has no sense of the calendar, and neither do we.

Common questions

Pricing, Quotes and Offers

What does "from $89" actually include?

"From $89" is the honest entry point: a single blockage, easy access, cleared with the gear already on the van. If the job turns out bigger, a collapsed length of pipe or a second dig point, we price that properly on site and confirm it before any tool touches the ground.

Is the quote really free?

Yes, no charge at all, whether the job goes ahead or not. Someone experienced walks the site, works out what's actually wrong, and gives you one number to weigh up before deciding anything.

What discounts do you offer?

Five offers can apply to the one booking: $65 off your first service, free CCTV drain inspection with any jet blast, a complimentary plumbing look-over once a job reaches $200, a premium garden tap included at no charge once you've paid for the job, and the 20% seniors discount. Multiple offers are welcome together.

What does "$65 off your first service" cover?

New customers get $65 taken off their very first invoice, and it applies no matter the size of the job, from a five-minute clear to a full repair. There's no minimum spend and nothing to enter at checkout, it comes off automatically on your very first booking with us.

Common questions

Local to Westleigh

What suburbs do you service?

We work right across Westleigh and into the neighbouring pockets of Thornleigh, Normanhurst, Pennant Hills, Cherrybrook and Hornsby. If your street sits near any of those, we're already a familiar face nearby.

How local are you, really?

Our vans are regularly out near the off-leash dog park, and plenty of our regular customers first heard about us from a neighbour rather than a search engine. That's the kind of reputation you can't buy.

Do you handle strata and units?

Westleigh is overwhelmingly standalone houses on large blocks from the 1970s and 80s build-out, so strata jobs are genuinely uncommon here. On the rare unit block we do strike, we work directly with owners and managers to sort out whose pipe is whose before anything gets touched.

Do tree roots cause many blockages around Westleigh?

Yes, easily one of our most common callouts. Westleigh backs onto thick native bushland, and those roots chase moisture straight into any joint in an old clay line, especially once the ground dries out between storms.

Common questions

Who's Responsible for What

Can I clear a blocked drain myself?

Simple things are worth trying yourself first: a plunger, or a kettle of hot water down a slow basin, often clears it. Anything bigger, a full stoppage, a toilet, or a blockage that keeps returning, needs a licensed plumber under NSW regulations, both for safety and because guesswork rarely solves it for good.

Who is responsible for a blocked sewer, me or Sydney Water?

Generally, you. Sydney Water owns and maintains the main line under the street, but the pipework running from your house out to that connection point is the property owner's responsibility to keep clear and in good repair. If you're ever unsure where that line sits, we can talk you through it on site.

What standards does drainage work follow?

NSW drainage work is expected to meet the AS/NZS 3500 standard, and it isn't something an unlicensed handyman can legally take on. Every job we carry out is completed and signed off by one of our own licensed plumbers, gas fitters included.

What is your lifetime labour warranty?

It means what it says: no conditions attached. If a drain or pipe we've worked on plays up again down the track, we come back and put it right ourselves, and you don't pay a cent for the callout or the fix.
